The full W3C logo
The full form of the W3C Logo as the text
"W3C World Wide Web Consortium".
The text "W3C" has the glyphs for "W" and "3"
combined to form a ligature. The glyph for "C"
appears as if there are two overlapped characters
- a dark "C" and a light "C" slightly offset
vertically.
The text "World Wide Web" is set in uppercase above
a solid dark rectangle.
The text "consortium" is placed over the dark
rectangle.
The typeface used is a modern display type.
The font used for the "consortium" text.
A subset of the Emigre Base12 font with modifications
This is the Emigre Base12 font but with a few small
modifications. Firstly, a ligature for "W3" has been created by
overlapping the "W" and "3" glyphs then joining the paths and
cleaning up the dirty edges. Secondly, a different "C" glyph has
been formed by offsetting the negative "C" glyph from the positive.
